New Stars for Young Stars III Saturday, January 12, 2008 Boston Red Sox stars are pitching in to sign autographs to help the Jimmy Fund strike out cancer. “New Stars for Young Stars III” is scheduled for Jan. 12, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Jillian’s Boston. The championship lineup includes Dustin Pedroia, Jon Lester, Gabe Kapler, Jed Lowrie, Bubba Bell, Michael Bowden, Nick Hagadone and Justin Masterson. Tickets go on sale, online only, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. Log onto www.jimmyfund.org/new-stars to make a purchase. Tickets cost $250 and $150.

Come to Jillian's Boston to shoot some pool, bowl, enjoy some great food, a silent auction, memorabilia sales, and the opportunity to meet some of your favorite baseball stars. Red Sox players Jonathan Papelbon, Bronson Arroyo, Craig Hansen, Lenny DiNardo, Manny DelCarmen and minor-league players Charlie Zink, Jed Lowrie, and Brandon Moss plan to attend. Three tiers of tickets are on sale now. Platinum tickets cost $149, which includes autographs from all players, a top spot in line, lunch for up to three people, and a Red Sox game jersey. Only 10 platinum tickets will be sold. Gold tickets cost $99 and include autographs from all players, a priority spot in line, lunch for up to three people, and an 8x10 photo of each player or an official major-league baseball. Only 40 gold tickets will be sold. General tickets cost $49 and include lunch for up to three people, plus autographs from four players, who will be divided into groups A and B. Group A includes Papelbon, Hansen, Lowrie, and Moss. Group B includes Arroyo, DiNardo, DelCarmen, and Zink. When buying the ticket you must choose group A or B. Bowling and Billiards for Bayou Relief Monday, September 19, 2005 On Monday, September 19, 2005, join the New England Lodging, Hospitality, and Tourism Industry for a night of bowling and billiards to support those affected by Hurricane Katrina. “Bowling and Billiards for Bayou Relief” is being held at Jillian’s Boston and Lucky Strike Lanes from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.   A requested minimum $25 donation provides access to Jillian’s Boston, where you can shoot pool and bid on great silent auction items including stays in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Scottsdale, Arizona and New York City. All proceeds go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.   “Bowling and Billiards for Bayou Relief” is supported by the Greater Boston Convention & Visitor Bureau, Boston Convention Marketing Center, Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, Massachusetts Lodging Association, Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, the Massachusetts Sports & Entertainment Commission, Jillian’s Boston and Lucky Strike Lanes.
